Stockton police have arrested a suspect in connection with the deaths of two people found shot in an alleyway last week. The suspect was taken into custody without incident, according to the Stockton Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting near Pershing Avenue and Rosemarie Lane at about 9:20 p.m. on July 24. At the scene, they found a 58-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were given first aid and taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
