Authorities are asking for the public's help to locate a 6-year-old boy from Compton who has been missing since Monday, last seen with his caregiver. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department issued a news release stating that Saint Young was last seen around 1 p.m.
in the 2300 block of West Corydon Street in Compton. He was with his caregiver, Franita Sexton, at the time.
Saint is described as a Black child with black hair and brown eyes, weighing 60 pounds and standing 4 feet tall. He was last seen wearing his school uniform, which consists of a white shirt and blue shorts.
Sexton, 63, is a Black woman, 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 114 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white jacket and blue jeans.
Officials believe she may be traveling in a black 2024 Kia four-door sedan with California license plate 9LBV962. The Sheriff's Department expressed concern for the well-being of both Saint and Sexton.
