Woman Identified as Shooter in North Hills Murder-Suicide That Killed Four

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office has identified the woman who died in a murder-suicide in North Hills as the person who killed herself and apparently killed three others. The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, when officers responded to reports of shots fired at about 7:50 p.m.

in the 16200 block of Londelius Street, near the intersection of Parthenia Street and Woodley Avenue. Upon arrival, Los Angeles Police Department officers found four people dead inside the home: a man, a woman, and two children.

The victims were identified as Khajag Basmajian, 31; Alec Basmajian, 2; and Ella Basmajian, who was just six days old. The fourth victim, 30-year-old Marine Basmajian, died from a gunshot wound to the head, and her death was ruled a suicide by the Medical Examiner's office.

Authorities have not released a motive for the killings. The investigation is ongoing.
