Wanita M. Cyr, 90, of Millinocket, Maine

Wanita M. (Plourde) Cyr, a longtime resident of Millinocket, Maine, passed away at home on April 13, 2026, at the age of 90.

She was the beloved wife of Donald Cyr for 70 years and a dedicated mother to four sons. An active community member, she was involved with St.

Martin of Tours Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella, and local theater. She was known for her vibrant personality, sense of style, and love for family gatherings at their camp on Millinocket Lake.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on June 19, 2026, in Millinocket.
