Second Body Found in Fresno Canal Linked to Murder Investigation

Emergency crews are recovering a body from a canal in central Fresno, according to the Fresno Fire Department. The body was discovered in a canal near Glenn and Webster avenues.

Authorities say this canal is connected to the same waterway where another body was found on Sunday, May 10, near Neilson and Hughes avenues, approximately 4.5 miles away. The first victim was identified as 50-year-old Georgiana McGhee, who was later determined to be a murder victim.

Police arrested 48-year-old Boshay Ware in connection with that case. Authorities have also been searching for a possible second victim, 55-year-old Jerome Saldivar, who was reported missing.

It remains unclear whether the newly discovered body is related to the ongoing investigation. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
