Santa Monica Public Library Offers Free July Programs for Youth and Families

The Santa Monica Public Library is hosting a series of free educational and entertainment programs for children and families throughout July. Programs include balloon artistry, bubble science, a Pokémon Club, and a live music show.

- July 2: “Regular Guy Dave’s Wacky Balloon & Fun Academy” at Montana Branch (ages 5–11, 2:30–3:30 p.m.) - July 7: “Bubblemania” at Fairview Branch (ages 5–11, 2:30–3:30 p.m.) - July 9: Pokémon Club at Pico Branch Annex (ages 5–11, 3:30–4:30 p.m.) - July 15: “Party Time in America Music Show” at Ocean Park Branch (all ages, 2:30–3:30 p.m.) All events are free and tickets are distributed starting 30 minutes before each program. Participants are asked to leave personal Pokémon cards at home for the Pokémon Club.
