The popular Music on the Beach free concert series is returning to Kings Beach for its 20th season, featuring a full lineup of live performances against the scenic backdrop of North Lake Tahoe. Presented by the Kings Beach District with support from the North Tahoe Chamber, the series kicks off on June 19 and runs nearly every Friday through September 4, 2026, excluding July 3 and August 7.
Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area, with craft beer from Alibi Ale Works, wine from Truckee River Winery, and local food vendors serving from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Darcy Parrillo, Kings Beach District Manager, expressed excitement about the milestone season. "Music on the Beach has been a signature event series in Kings Beach for 20 years, and we’re excited to welcome music lovers back for another great summer of live tunes, great food and drinks, and dancing on the beach," she said.
The series opens on June 19 with Pacific Vibration, a premier independent reggae band led by singer-songwriter Kerry Wing of Pacifica, California. The band is known for its authentic reggae rhythms and soulful, expressive vocals, delivering conscious and uplifting music aimed at inspiring positive change.
Organizers encourage attendees to use public transportation, walk, or bike to the event. Thanks to support from the North Tahoe Community Alliance, the Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition will offer a free, secure bike valet at each concert, making it easy to ride instead of drive.
Outside alcohol and pets are not permitted. Volunteers are always needed, and concert or series sponsors are welcome.
