The City of Santa Maria is set to launch its annual summer concert series this Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Pioneer Park. The free event, organized by the Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department, will run from 6:00 p.m.
to 8:30 p.m. and feature a diverse lineup of musical acts designed to appeal to all ages.
The opening night will showcase a popular local band known for playing classic rock and pop hits. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets to enjoy the evening under the stars.
The concert series will continue each Saturday through August 29, with different genres ranging from jazz and blues to Latin and country music. City officials expect strong attendance, as the event has been a community staple for over two decades.
Food vendors will be on-site, and a designated area for children's activities will also be available. Pioneer Park is located at 1000 West Church Street, and free parking will be provided in the adjacent lots.
The rain date for any canceled performance will be the following Sunday. This series is part of Santa Barbara County's broader summer events calendar, which aims to promote local culture and community engagement.
