The Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce has opened its annual fireworks booth at the Food Maxx/Belle Mill Shopping Center, marking the beginning of celebrations for the nation’s 250th anniversary. The booth will operate daily from June 28 through July 4, 10:30 a.m.

to 9:30 p.m. Customers who spend $50 or more will receive a free American flag, while supplies last.

Thanks to a donation from Nico Clemente of Red Hat Fire Protection, purchases of $10 or more qualify for a free home or personal fire extinguisher, also while supplies last. Military and first responder discounts are available through online orders via TNT, and debit and credit cards are accepted at the booth.

Proceeds from fireworks sales help fund the Community Fireworks Show on July 4 at 9:30 p.m., just south of River Park, and support local tourism. The Chamber emphasizes that counties where legal safe-and-sane fireworks are sold experience significantly fewer fire incidents, and more California communities are legalizing these safer alternatives.

In a separate initiative, the Chamber and Vesper Masonic Lodge have partnered for the Business Flag Placement Program. For $50 per year, businesses can display an American flag on six national holidays: Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Veterans Day.

The Lodge provides, installs, and removes the flags at commercial properties. Funds raised support Shriners Hospital for Children in Sacramento, which provides free life-changing care to children with serious medical needs.

The Chamber also invites the community to the next Good Morning, Red Bluff networking event on Wednesday, June 25, from 7:50 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

at Sacred Heart School, 2255 Monroe Avenue. Attendees can enjoy refreshments, learn about the school, and connect with local professionals.

Additionally, the Wednesday Night Summer Market continues weekly from 5 p.m. in downtown Red Bluff, featuring fresh produce, food trucks, artisan goods, kids’ activities, and live music—this week by Flashback, playing blues, rock, and R&B.

The market offers a family-friendly atmosphere with shade and cool treats.

Finally, the Chamber recognized renewing members, including Bob’s Tire Center, BrandedSpadeCo, California Employers Association, Copy Center, Dale’s Carpet & Design, Fleming Insurance Services, Kiwanis Club of Red Bluff, KIXE PBS, Lassen House Senior Living, Los Amigos Meat Market, Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant Candess Vaughn, McGahan Trucking LLC, Meadow Vista Apartments, Nation’s Finest, Northern Valley Catholic Social Service, Northern Valley Indian Health, NUG Red Bluff, P.A.T.H., Paratransit Services, RE/MAX Top Properties, Red Bluff Ace Hardware, Red Bluff Bull Sale, Red Bluff Interiors, Salgado Grey CPAs, SERVPRO of Shasta, Trinity and Tehama Counties, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Red Bluff, Tehama eLearning Academy, Tri Counties Bank, and ZenBusiness.
