The Quincy Community Supper, a longstanding tradition in Plumas County, provided 140 meals of taco salad, Mexican corn, and strawberry shortcake at its June 10 gathering. Volunteers from Senior Life Solutions assisted in preparing and serving the free meal, which took place at the Quincy United Methodist Church, located at 282 Jackson Street.

The community supper, held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m., has been a fixture in Quincy for over 23 years. It is hosted by a rotating list of local businesses, churches, service organizations, schools, and offices, ensuring a variety of community involvement.

The next supper is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, at 6 p.m. Limited takeout will be available starting at 6:30 p.m.

Organizers extend a warm invitation to everyone in the community for an evening of food and fellowship. While there is no charge for the meal, donations are welcome to support the ongoing effort.
