The annual fireworks display at Lake McClure will take place on June 20, 2026, with gates opening at 6 p.m. and the show starting at dusk, around 9 p.m.

Visitors planning to attend the event at MID Parks in Mariposa County are strongly encouraged to pre-purchase their tickets through Yodel for $25 per vehicle. Only pre-purchased Yodel tickets will be accepted at that rate; limited same-day tickets may be available at the gate for $30, with a longer wait to enter the park.

The boat entrance fee is $9 per trailer, and visitors can enjoy the park all day before the fireworks. The fireworks parking area opens at 6 p.m., and the park entrance closes at 7:30 p.m.

to all traffic. Annual pass holders receive free entry and can show their hangtag or annual Yodel pass.

Those with an annual boat pass do not need to pay the additional $9 boat fee. Annual passes can be purchased online at www.lakemcclure.com.

All MID Parks will charge the $25 pre-sale or $30 at-the-gate fee for entry, and purchasing a pass from any park grants access to the show. Visitors are welcome to arrive early and spend the day at Lakes McClure and McSwain.

Pre-purchase of tickets is highly recommended and can be done online. Entry requires showing the Yodel ticket and ensuring the license plate matches the vehicle; the license plate can also be scanned for validation.

Parking is available in designated areas, and vehicles left in no-parking zones may be ticketed. Limited overnight camping may still be available at Lake McClure.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy the show from their boats, but all night-time navigation laws will be enforced. Unless they already have a current annual boat pass, visitors must purchase a $9 Event Boat Day Use ticket through Yodel.

Launch ramp parking lots fill up early during this event. Visitors are reminded to bring friends, family, folding chairs, sunscreen, appropriate clothing for hot weather, food, drinks, ice chests, and plenty of ice.

For those viewing from boats, extra dry towels, warm clothing, and a flashlight are recommended due to extended wait times returning to the launch ramp. Personal fireworks are prohibited in Mariposa County and must not be brought to the event.

The event entrance is at the MID Parks Entrance at 9090 Lake McClure Road, Snelling. The recreation areas at Lakes McClure and McSwain are open all day for visitors.
