New Owners at Danville's Norm's Place and Primos Refresh Menus, Honor Community Roots

Two long-standing Danville restaurants, Norm's Place and Primos, are navigating change under new ownership while striving to preserve their community roles. Norm's Place (new in 2024) completed an expansion, added healthier menu options and an upgraded bourbon bar, but kept classics like the Hartz Burger.

Primos (new in 2025) got a fresh look and new menu items like a smashburger, while maintaining its sports-bar vibe and popular 2-for-1 pizza Monday. Both establishments emphasize supporting local schools and youth leagues, with Primos being a common first employer for local teens.

While updates are evident in food and decor, both eateries remain committed to being gathering places that uphold local traditions in Alameda County's Tri-Valley area.
