Rep. Thompson Nominates 7 Students to Military Academies

Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04) announced the nomination of seven local students to U.S.

military service academies. The students were honored at a ceremony in Rutherford.

- Owen Rainwater (Woodland) to West Point; 4.35 GPA, class rank 1. - Clare Cuneo (Sonoma) to West Point; student body co-president, varsity athlete.

- Charles Im (Napa) to West Point; baseball champion, 180+ volunteer hours. - Isabella Hazel (Davis) to Air Force Academy; 4.36 GPA, AP Scholar.

- Diego Rodriguez (Vacaville) to Air Force Academy; 4.43 GPA, student pilot. - Quinn Dixon (Sonoma) to Naval Academy; top 5% class, swim captain.

- Atticus Keys (Dixon) to Naval Academy; rower, ranked 2nd in California. The appointments follow a competitive process including interviews and evaluations.
