Woodland Welcomes Pizza Factory with Grand Opening Festivities

Woodland, events, business, food

Pizza Factory Woodland, located at 353 W. Main St., Suites D & E, officially opened its doors with a grand opening event Tuesday morning, drawing dozens of community members to celebrate the new pizzeria and thank residents for their warm reception.

The event, held just before lunchtime, highlighted the strong community ties that the business has already established since its soft opening.

Cynthia Evans, Executive Director of the Woodland Chamber of Commerce, praised the community's enthusiasm, stating, "The enthusiasm we witnessed at the grand opening truly embodies what makes Woodland special." She emphasized the Chamber's commitment to supporting local businesses, noting that when local businesses thrive, the entire community flourishes. Evans added that the Chamber takes pride in welcoming new neighbors like Pizza Factory, which generates jobs and contributes to Woodland's growth.

To show appreciation, the first 50 guests received a free small pizza and a commemorative T-shirt, along with a chance to win free pizza for a year. Throughout the day, attendees could take advantage of a grand-opening special offering XL two-topping pizzas for $22.

Owner Nita Sandhu expressed gratitude for the community's support, saying, "It’s been awesome today, we have had so much encouragement from the community and so much support throughout our soft opening, and to see everyone here for the grand opening just really makes us feel part of the community here, and we are so happy and glad." She noted that specials would continue throughout the month and invited everyone to visit.

According to its website, Pizza Factory has operated for over 30 years, staying true to its roots with hardworking owners and staff, family-friendly dining, and high-quality products. The company prides itself on the smiles that first bites of pizza bring and aims to make every guest feel at home.

The Woodland location is open daily from 11 a.m.

Pizza Factory CEO Lisa Roscoe stated, "We’re thrilled to officially celebrate our grand opening in Woodland and take a day to thank the community for the warm welcome we’ve already received. At Pizza Factory, we’ve always been about creating places where families, friends, and neighbors can come together, and we’re excited to continue building those connections here.

We look forward to serving the Woodland community for many years to come."

The event marks a significant milestone for the business and underscores Woodland's vibrant local economy.
