Hope Sack: A Simple Idea Bringing Hygiene and Hope to Humboldt County

Hope Sack, a project under the Ink People Center for the Arts' DreamMaker program, provides hygiene kits to homeless individuals in Humboldt County. Founded by Margaret Kellermann in 2023, the initiative has distributed over 3,200 kits to men, women, and children.

- Started in 2023 after a woman asked for a toothbrush on a cold January day. - Kits include travel-sized toiletries, emergency blankets, notebooks, and seasonal items like lip balm or beanies.
