The Golden Gate Park Band, under music director and conductor German Gonzalez, is offering a series of free summer concerts at Spreckels Temple of Music in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. The series runs every Sunday through September 27, 2026.
- On June 21, the band will be joined by The Sistas trio from Lorraine Hansberry Theatre for a Juneteenth and Father's Day performance featuring gospel and R&B. - June 28 features an "Around the World in 90 Minutes" concert with international music from Japan, Scotland, Puerto Rico, and a Beatles medley.
- July 4 marks the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence with a patriotic concert including "Yankee Doodle" and fireworks.
The concerts are free and open to the public, located between the de Young Museum and the California Academy of Sciences.
