The city of Fort Bragg has installed two sets of free public binoculars along the Coastal Trail near Glass Beach to enhance recreational experiences. - One set at North Coastal Trail (south of Glass Beach, near picnic area) offers 20x magnification.
- The other set at South Coastal Trail (west of parking lot) offers 10x magnification. - Both binoculars have 360-degree rotation and 30-degree vertical viewing range.
- The project was supported by the Blue Zones Project, an Adventist Health organization. The binoculars are available for public use to view the ocean, cliffs, birds, and marine life with enhanced clarity.
