Fire crews are continuing to battle the Putah Fire, which is burning near the Napa-Solano county line. The blaze has prompted evacuation advisories for nearby areas as firefighters work to contain the flames.
The fire's location in a rural, brush-covered region has made access challenging, but crews are using both ground and aerial resources to slow its spread. Officials have not yet reported any injuries or structural damage, but they urge residents in the advisory zones to prepare for possible evacuation orders.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Humboldt Senior Resource Center (HSRC) supports healthy aging, with numerous programs that benefit older adults as well as families and caregivers.
