Worldwide Make Music Day, a free global event, takes place on June 21, the summer solstice, in over 2,000 cities including several in Southern California. - Started in France in 1982, now celebrated in dozens of countries.
- Open to everyone, not just professional musicians. - Participating SoCal cities: Anaheim, Big Bear, Carlsbad, Fullerton, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange, Santa Monica, Topanga, Ventura.
All events are free and open to the public, encouraging community music-making.
