Pride Month, observed each June, honors the LGBTQ community and the 1969 Stonewall Uprising. California was the first state to officially designate June as Pride Month in 2018.
Major events include San Francisco Pride (June 27-28), Los Angeles Pride (June 14), and WeHo Pride (June 5-7). Palm Springs holds its celebration in November due to extreme summer heat.
