Watsonville Municipal Airport will host its annual Fire in the Sky event on July 4, 2026, to coincide with the nation's 250th anniversary. The event includes vintage aircraft displays, a car show, skydiving, flyovers, and fireworks.

The event is free and open to the public, with restrictions on weapons, outside fireworks, alcohol, glass, pets, and cooking equipment. Cash is required for food purchases.
