USPS Unveils Declaration of Independence Forever Stamp for 250th Anniversary

The U.S. Postal Service will release a Declaration of Independence Forever stamp on July 4, 2026, marking the 250th anniversary of the nation's founding document.

- The first-day-of-issue event takes place at the B Free Franklin Post Office in Philadelphia. - Lucy Trout, secretary of the USPS Board of Governors, will officiate.

- The stamp is issued in panes of 20 and will always equal the First-Class Mail 1-ounce price. - The event is free and open to the public as part of the Celebration of Freedom.
