UCSB's College of Creative Studies Celebrates 2026 Commencement

On June 7, 2026, UCSB's College of Creative Studies held its commencement ceremony at Campbell Hall, graduating 74 undergraduates. The event featured notable achievements and inspiring speeches.

- Graduates produced 38 original works, 11 published poems, and 14 prose pieces. - They also presented 71 posters and 59 oral presentations at 28 international gatherings.

- Commencement speaker Ronald Vale (’80) urged graduates to prioritize kindness and collaboration. - Student speaker Haowen Deng highlighted the rare freedom and mentorship CCS provides.
