The USA TODAY Network honors Tulare County's top 10 high school boys basketball scorers as part of its 250th anniversary celebration of American sports. These athletes set records and led their teams to championships.
- Grant Verhoeven (CVC) leads with 2,598 career points, the first in county history to surpass 2,000. - Malachi Ficher (Tulare Western) scored 2,432 points, the most in Tulare city history.
- Aden Plyman (Exeter) became the third county player to reach 2,000 points, breaking a 26-year-old school record. - Cruz Campos (Granite Hills) finished with 1,925 points, the all-time leader in Porterville city history.
The list includes players from Tulare Union, Orosi, Central Valley Christian, Mission Oak, and Tulare Western, many of whom played college or professional basketball.
