Temple Bat Yam, a Jewish community on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe, sponsored Bread & Broth's Monday Meal on May 18 through an Adopt A Day of Nourishment program. - Volunteers from the congregation served 143 guests a full-course dinner featuring roasted mushroom chicken, rice pilaf, summer squash medley, and fresh salad.
- The congregation contributed $350 to fund the meal, and guests also received bags of healthy food for later in the week. - The volunteer team included Katy Rosenbloom, Zag Rosenbloom, Wendi Shulman, Penny Springer, Rachel Szumel, and Pam Taylor.
