28 May 2026 07:40

Tahoe Family Solutions, the family resource center in Incline Village, is expanding mental health services to meet growing demand, especially among the Hispanic and Latino communities. - The center now has four therapists, three of whom are bilingual and bicultural.

- In 2024, it served 153 clients through counseling and 31 through psychiatry services. - A waiting list, primarily Hispanic, highlights the need for more bilingual therapists.

- The center offers no-cost care without insurance and partners with local hospitals and foundations. The organization is also planning a suicide prevention seminar in September and relies on community events like Shabby Chic for funding.
