Elk's Lodge Number 1487 and American Legion Post 204 will host a Flag Day observance on Sunday at Memorial Park in Susanville. The event includes a ceremony reflecting on the flag's history and values, plus a collection of worn or damaged flags for proper retirement.
Attendees will receive complimentary hamburgers and hot dogs. The event is open to the public.
