Stellantis Recalls Nearly 1.1 Million Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators Over Fire Risk

Stellantis is recalling nearly 1.08 million Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators in the U.S. due to a fire risk from faulty power steering pump wiring.

The NHTSA warns fires can occur even when the vehicle is off. Owners are advised to park away from structures until repairs are available.

- Affected models: 2021–2025 Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator. - Cause: Electrical connection issue in the power steering pump wiring.

- Remedy: Free repair expected by July 2026; owners will be notified by mail. - Additional 253,000 vehicles recalled in Canada, Mexico, and other markets.

Stellantis urges customers to park away from buildings and other vehicles as a precaution.
