22 May 2026 12:00

The Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport is on track to break its passenger record in 2026, with projections of 900,000 to 950,000 travelers.

- Southwest Airlines began service in April, adding nonstop flights to Burbank, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Denver. - American Airlines will increase Phoenix flights to three daily starting November 2.

- Alaska Airlines reported a 23% increase in April passengers and will add three new seasonal destinations. The airport handled 75,702 passengers in April, up 13.1% year-over-year, though year-to-date numbers are slightly down due to Avelo's lingering statistics.
