The Sierra Nevada Conservancy (SNC) is actively funding projects to protect the region from wildfires and build climate resilience. The SNC Board recently approved nearly $8.7 million in wildfire resilience grants.

The organization has launched new grant rounds for sustainable recreation, forest health, and watershed improvement. Key initiatives include supporting tribal cultural burning and restoring giant sequoia groves.

With a new strategic plan and growing service area, the SNC continues its 20-year mission of investing in the long-term health and safety of Sierra-Cascade communities and landscapes.
