Santa Clarita Public Library Launches Summer Reading Program 'Unearth a Story'

The Santa Clarita Public Library invites the community to its summer reading program, 'Unearth a Story,' running from June 8 to July 24, 2025. - The program features dinosaur-themed activities, crafts, performances, and outdoor experiences at all library branches.

- A Summer Reading Kick-Off event will be held on June 13 at the Old Town Newhall Library Branch. - Participants can earn books and prizes by logging reading days through the Summer Reading Challenge.

- Free lunches for youth 18 and under will be available at two branches through the Lunch at the Library program. This summer initiative aims to turn reading into an adventure, encouraging curiosity and discovery for all ages.
