Santa Clara High School captured its first CCS softball championship with a 14-8 victory over Silver Creek. The Bruins jumped to a 5-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back.
- Victoria Calvillo went 3-for-4 and scored the first run on a triple. - Marley Hernandez drove in three runs, and Jazzy Ramirez added two RBIs.
- Sophomore Rylan Morales pitched 5⅔ innings and also had an RBI. - Both teams declined NorCal playoff invitations due to graduation commitments.
The win marked the program's first section title since 1976, when they lost the inaugural CCS final.
