Sue DiCicco, founder of the Peace Crane Project, visited Foothill Elementary in Santa Barbara to teach third graders origami. One of her paper crane designs is now featured on the USPS International Peace Forever stamp.
The students learned how their folded cranes can carry messages of peace to people around the world. DiCicco emphasized that the true value of each crane lies in the connections it fosters along its journey.
