Sandy, Bain, Verona Fires: Updates and Containment

A smoke advisory has expired, but three major fires continue to burn in Southern California. - The Sandy Fire in Simi Valley (Ventura County) is 40% contained at 2,141 acres, with one home lost.

- The Bain Fire in Jurupa Valley (Riverside County) is 67% contained at 1,497 acres. - The Verona Fire in Homeland (Riverside County) is 57% contained at 648 acres.

Residents are advised to stay indoors due to smoke and follow air quality guidelines.
