Dwight William Rhone, a 74-year-old man already in custody for a 2023 murder, has pleaded not guilty to three additional murder charges in San Diego County. The charges include a 1993 strangulation, a 2002 beating, and a 2025 discovery of human remains.
Prosecutors are also investigating possible connections to a 2021 disappearance and a 1989 death. Rhone remains in custody without bail, with a court date set for March 2027.
