A man is wanted for attempted murder after a samurai sword attack in Mariposa County. - Jonathan Mishael Bays, 41, is accused of striking a victim multiple times with a samurai sword at Creekside Apartments.
- The victim suffered injuries to the head, shoulder, wrist, and hand. - Bays was last seen walking toward the jail on a trail, wearing a black sweater, tan pants, a camo hat, and black shoes.
- He is considered armed and dangerous; do not approach. Call 911.
Authorities are conducting an active search with drones and helicopters.
