Redwood City Council to Vote on Housing, World Cup Flag

Redwood City officials will consider nearly $13 million in funding for two affordable housing projects during a Housing Night meeting on May 11. - The funding supports Rise City Apartments (94 units) and a MidPen Housing project (79 units), adding up to 170 affordable homes.

- The council will also discuss studying affordable housing redevelopment at Downtown Library Parking Lot B, which could yield 70-104 homes. - Other items include the 2026 Community Development Block Grant Action Plan and a FIFA World Cup 26 flag display for the tournament.
