The Pleasanton Unified School District Board of Trustees will vote on resolutions to issue final layoff notices to employees as part of budget cuts totaling over $11 million. - The district has identified $11.2 million in cuts over 18 months due to declining enrollment and loss of one-time funds.

- After negotiations, only 2 FTE certificated management and 3 FTE certificated non-management positions remain on the layoff list, along with 23.3 FTE classified non-management positions. - Total estimated savings from all layoffs and vacant position closures is over $5 million.
