The primary election for California's 22nd Congressional District remains too close to call. Incumbent David Valadao leads with 44% of the vote.
Two Democrats, Jasmeet Bains and Randy Villegas, are vying for the second spot with 26% and 30% respectively. Tens of thousands of ballots are still uncounted.
The top two candidates will advance to the November general election.
