Power Shutoffs Possible in Colusa County and Other Parts of North Bay as Hot, Windy Weather Raises Wildfire Risk

An offshore wind event is raising wildfire risks across Northern California, prompting a Red Flag Warning for the Sacramento Valley starting Wednesday. PG&E has issued a PSPS forecast for eight counties, including Colusa, with possible shutoffs Wednesday through Friday.

Gusty winds of 30-45 mph and critically dry conditions are expected. Customers in affected areas may receive notifications later today or Tuesday.
