The City of Portola is hosting a community cleanup event tomorrow, Saturday, May 30, from 8 to 11 a.m. at City Park on South Gulling Street.
Participants will help clean targeted areas across the city. - Free lunch and prizes will be provided.
- Gloves, high-visibility vests, and rubbish pickers are available for loan. - Participants should wear work clothes and may bring preferred tools.
- The event is part of the state's Clean California Community initiative. Organizers say the event fosters community pride and offers a chance to meet like-minded neighbors.
