PG&E Warns of Possible Shutoffs in Northern California Counties

Pacific Gas and Electric Co. has issued an advisory for possible power shutoffs across several Northern California counties due to forecasted high temperatures and wildfire risks.

- The advisory covers Colusa, Glen, Lake, Napa, Sonoma, Sutter, Tehama, and Yolo counties through Friday. - Temperatures are expected to reach near 100 degrees on Thursday, with dry conditions and gusty winds increasing fire danger.

- Recent fires include a 10.5-acre blaze near Vacaville and the 300-acre Putah Fire in Yolo County. - Residents are urged to take fire safety precautions and prepare for potential outages.
