PG&E Warns of Possible Power Shutoffs in Northern California Amid Red Flag Warning

A red flag warning for heightened wildfire danger is in effect for parts of Northern California, including the East Bay hills, from Wednesday night to Thursday morning. PG&E has notified customers of a possible Public Safety Power Shutoff in Sonoma, Napa, and Solano counties.

- The National Weather Service warning runs from 11 p.m. Wednesday to 9 a.m.

- The Putah Fire near Lake Berryessa has burned 869 acres and is the largest active fire in California. - Highway 128 has reopened after being closed due to the fire.
