Oakland man arrested in Montara road rage incident

A 56-year-old Oakland man was arrested after a road rage incident in Montara where he allegedly pointed a gun at another driver. - Incident occurred at Highway 1 and 2nd Avenue in Montara around 8:30 p.m.

Sunday. - Deputies used license-plate reader technology to locate the suspect in Moss Beach.

- Seized items included cocaine, methamphetamine, a semi-automatic firearm, ammunition, illegal fireworks, and a false registration tab. - The suspect faces charges including assault with a firearm and possession of a controlled substance for sale.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are looking for additional victims and witnesses.
