A Madera County rental property owner has been arrested for secretly recording guests and possessing child sexual abuse material. The arrest followed a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Over 4,000 images of child sexual abuse material were found on his devices. Investigators say he recorded victims on-site by peering through blinds in private areas.
Authorities are urging anyone who rented the Oakhurst home from 2023 to March 2026 to contact them. The suspect now faces multiple felony charges as detectives work to identify all potential victims.
