Coleman Park in Morro Bay reopens Friday after a 55-day renovation. The park, closed since March, features new playground, kayak wash station, bike racks, and picnic areas.
Restrooms will be available soon after PG&E completes electrical work. Residents welcome the improvements, which cost $1.4 million, half from grants.
Future upgrades are planned under the Waterfront Masterplan.
