Man Rescued from 30-Foot Hole at North Hollywood Construction Site

A man was rescued early Thursday morning after falling into a deep hole at a construction site in North Hollywood. The incident occurred on the 11000 block of W.

Hartsook St. around 3 a.m.

The hole was approximately 3 feet wide and 30 feet deep. Firefighters lowered an oxygen mask due to poor air quality and used an aerial ladder truck for a rope rescue.

The man was extricated after about an hour and transported to a local hospital; his condition is unknown.
