A mother in North Hills, Los Angeles, allegedly killed her husband and two young children before taking her own life. LAPD has found no prior history of domestic violence or substance abuse.
The motive remains unknown. The incident occurred on May 27.
Marine Basmajian, 30, is believed to have shot her husband Khajag Basmajian, 31, and their children, a 2-year-old boy and a 6-day-old girl. Police responded to a shots-fired call at 7:50 p.m.
and found all four deceased. A firearm was recovered at the scene.
Assistant Chief Emada Tingirides confirmed the investigation continues with no established motive.
