LA Officials Warn Against Election Interference After Ballot Drop Box Fire and Vote Center Vandalism

Los Angeles County officials are investigating two incidents of election interference ahead of the June 2 primary. Vandalism was found at a Long Beach vote center, and a limited number of ballots were damaged by fire in a Los Angeles drop box.

Officials filed a police report and will contact affected voters. Voting operations were not disrupted.

Voters are urged to report suspicious activity.
