A 5-year-old girl abducted by her father in Nevada was found safe in Los Angeles County. The father was arrested.
- Amaya Meithof, 5, was taken Sunday morning by her father, Christopher Meithof, 41. - An Amber Alert was issued; the suspect was driving a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
- The child was recovered unharmed during a traffic stop in Palmdale, California. - Meithof is in custody pending extradition to Nevada.
The multi-agency operation involved the U.S. Marshals, HSI, and LASD.
